How big is too BIG?

This is "Big D", He is 8 years old and just full of energy and life. He is the one who can walk in to the hospital and know right where to go to get to the Emergency Room for stitches. Lord, knows we've been there enough lately.

This is also "Big D's" favorite riding toy. He has had this for many, many years. He can no longer peddle it, but he tries. Most of the time he is found running behind it while trying to steer with his little hands. He has napped on this in crazy positions only known to him. He eats lunch on it every weekend possible. If we're there for dinner he eats on it then. I can only imagine the miles that have been logged on it. I'm sure it is countless.

But I do have a question, When are you too BIG for it? Apparently, now might be it.




While eating lunch he got to laughing and flipped the loader over. I was just waiting for the bucket to dump on him. It never did. He crawled out from under it and laughed even harder. He is a nut and has advised me that it is still not going anywhere. "Please Mommy please, don't get rid of it, I looove it!" he says.

It's not going anywhere. I looove him to much to break is heart.
